Ghostlight:
Behind the screams

Together with director Pepijn Jehee, who also wrote the concept, I wrote the script for the show ‘Ghostlight - Behind the Screams’, a unique horror theatre experience on Halloween, 2024.

In this unique ghost story, the audience was invited to enter corners of the theatre they had never seen before, solving the mystery of the theatre’s curse, exploring different scenes as the groups split up. This project was in collaboration with The Rijswijkse Schouwburg.

Theater na de DaM


the 1st edition of Theater na de Dam Jong in Rijswijk ‘Open Ogen’, was written/directed by me, leading ten young performers through World War II history, creating a theatre route created with project leader Laura van der Leeuw and De Rijswijkse Schouwburg.

with writing partner Ryan van der Heijden, we translated Tim Rice’s new lyrics for Disney’s AIDA, along with the entirely new scenes written by David Henry Hwang, updating and reviewing Martine Bijl’s work. This version starred Gaia Aikman and April Darby.

Hide my Love - Pride Amsterdam

‘Hide My Love’ is a song written for Paul Morris , the Pride Anthem of Amsterdam Pride, 2022. For this song, I wrote the lyrics and collaborated with Morris on the melodies. Song produced by Talksick.


The ‘Jij Komt Terecht' Project is dedicated to Mikel van Dijk, who took his own life. These translations are the last thing he ever worked on.

These Translations were made by us, the 14 song album, starring wonderful musical theatre performers, was directed by me. Our Translations were also featured in Elindo Avastia’s ‘Musical Online’ Concert.
